Hi! My name is Sydney Austin and I love being a part of the team at Meadow Montessori. I fell in love with Montessori philosophy during my undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. After I graduated from UNCW in 2020, I worked as an Assistant Teacher in a Primary Montessori environment in Wilmington, North Carolina. In 2020 I made the decision to take the Primary Montessori training at the Center for Guided Montessori Studies and I never looked back. I received my Montessori Teaching Credential in August 2022 and have been working as a lead Montessori guide in the Primary department at Meadows since then. I currently live in Frederick, Maryland but I love to travel whenever I have time, exploring new places is my favorite thing to do. I also love reading (mystery thrillers are my favorite), trying out new recipes, and spending time with my family.
