Hi! I am Beverly Greene, mostly known as Ms. Bev. I live in a small country-side town in Frederick County and love being a part this community! My husband, Terry, and I have been married for 39 years and have two adult sons. Our oldest son is married and lives at the Outer Banks, and our youngest lives closer to home.
I have been working with children for over 33 years and have been implementing the Montessori Method of learning for the past 25 years. My Montessori journey began with the 2-3 year old’s and grew to working with preschool-age children. I have enjoyed teaching and learning! I earned my BA in Child and Family Development at American Public University. I’ve attended professional development opportunities at annual Montessori conferences by American Montessori Society at various locations in the USA, North American Montessori Society in Baltimore, and additional events such as Positive Discipline, Peace Education, and Trauma Informed Education -Adverse Childhood Experiences. During unprecedented time of COVID-19, it is very important to support the social and emotional development to build resilience and coping skills that empower young children. This is my goal in partnering with parents to raise competent, confident, successful individuals!
I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your children! I love to see the growth that takes place within each child. It is very rewarding to help guide them toward independence and seeing them accomplish their goals. I love working with children and being a part of their Montessori journey. I feel blessed to be part of such an important time in these young children’s lives!
In my personal time you can find me walking for exercise, riding my 4-wheeler through the woods, and caring for my husband, our animals, and home. I look forward to spending quality time with your children, supporting their natural tendencies and stretching their potential! “Free the child’s potential and you will transform him into the world.” – Dr. Maria Montessori
