I enjoy being a part of the Meadows Montessori team as a Teacher in the Primary classroom using my skills and knowledge of authentic Montessori philosophy and educational curriculum recognized in the State of Maryland by certification from the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) which is a nationally and internationally recognized qualification to work with children ages 2.5 years old through kindergarten. I am also working on my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at UMGC. I live in Frederick and am a mom to 5 children: Megan, Joshua, Owen, Avery, and Finn! I was blessed to be at home raising my children for 12 years until I returned to the workforce in August 2016. I have also earned the Infant and Toddler Certification and Preschool Teacher qualification recognized by the Office of Child Care under the Early Childhood Educational branch of MSDE. Some of my interests include: reading, crocheting, cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and being outdoors in nature. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to guide and nurture my students to fulfill their full potential as they learn to grow…change…learn!
