Hi, I’m Felicity and I’m so happy to work with Ms. Debbie in the Chickadee Room here at Meadows Montessori! I love children and have pursued early childhood education since high school where I was part of the Career & Technology Certification program. I earned hours that count toward getting recognized to work with young children. With time, I will earn the Infant and Toddler Certification through MSDE/OCC to become lead teacher qualified, however, for now, I am Aide qualified. My experience in high school with young children sparked my deeper interest in becoming an Early Childhood Educator!
I am so interested to learn more about Montessori philosophy, principles, and practices! Seeing the youngest members of Meadows Montessori having the freedom to move about, independence from contraptions you see in typical child care settings and homes, and the ability to explore the richly furnished world around them in multi-sensorial ways is truly amazing! I’m proud to be part of the babies daily routine and look forward to a long working relationship with everyone at Meadows Montessori.
My interests include painting, bowling, watching movies and sports, and eating Mexican food! I am a fur-mom to 3 dogs and 1 hamster.
