Allie Titus

Room 4

Hello! My name is Allie Titus. I have lived in Frederick, Maryland for the past twelve years. I was born in Italy and lived in Germany and Mississippi before moving to Maryland. I have two dogs, Oliver and Cooper. Oliver is the family’s dog and Cooper is my new, 7 month goldendoodle puppy! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in fourth grade and have worked with kids since I was 15 years old, coaching soccer and gymnastics. My mom is a fifth grade teacher and has been a teacher for over 30 years. She has been a huge inspiration for me and part of the reason why I want to be a teacher.

I have been working at Meadows for the last five years, part time, while on my breaks from college. I am now working at Meadows full time while taking a class to get my preschool Montessori certification. I just graduated from McDaniel college in the Spring of 2020, earning my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. While at McDaniel, I played on the Women’s Soccer team and was a project leader for the non-profit organization, Operation Christmas Child. I am now also the head soccer coach, for a local club in Frederick, Maryland, coaching 9-11 year old girls.

I am excited to continue working with the wonderful people in our Meadow’s community. I am also very excited to get to know all the kids that I will be working with. Watching these kids grow and develop every single day is the most rewarding experience, which is why I chose a career working with children.
